Siitä on taas hetki ku viimeksi kirjoittelin tänne, mutta nyt päästiin taas asiaan. Mä olin tuossa hetki aika sitten vähän kipeänä ja olin poissa koulusta muutamia päiviä myöskin, mutta alan nyt olemaan kokolailla terve. Oon pitänyt itseäni kyllä taas ihan riittämiin kiireisenä, oon mm. viettänyt paljon aikaa ystävien kanssa.

Joten ajattelin nyt kirjoittaa tänne jotain mun reisusta Meksikon halki USA:han.
 Joten aloitetaan siitä että mun hostsisko lähti siis Ranskaan opiskelemaan n. 6 kuukaudeksi. Hän lähti meidän mukaan reissuun ja me vietiin sisko Tucson, Arizonan lentokentälle josta häneltä lähti lento Los Angelesiin ja siitä eteenpäin Ranskaan.

Aloitettiin meidän matka vuoden 2017 ensimmäisenä päivänä. Lähdettiin aamulla kun sisko sai sanottua heipat isovanhemmille ja poikaystävälleen. Auto oli ihan pullollaan tavaraa, matkalaukkuja ja ym. muutama (hyvä että ittekkään mahtu mukaan :D). Tiedossa oli pitkä ajomatka, mutta tietysti ajattelin että onhan se sen arvoista kun pääsee taas tutustumaan uusiin paikkoihin ja pääsee tommoselle seikkailulle.

It has been a while again since I wrote here but now I am back at it again. I got a little sick, I didn't go to school for few days but eveything is okay now. I have been keeping myself busy. I have been spending a lot of time with my friends for example.

So something about my trip through parts of Mexico to United States. So first of all my hostsister did go to France to a study so she came with us to all the way to Tucson, Arizona and from there she flew to Los Angeles and from there to France.

We started our trip early on the first day of the year of 2017. We left on the morning after my sister said goodbyes to grandparents etc. The car was so full of stuff. The trip was going to be long, we would had to sit a long time in the car but I knew it would ofcourse be a great experience and a little adventure.

Ya hace un rato cuando escribí aquí pero ya me regresé. Me enfermé un poco y no fui a escuela en unos días pero ahora sí ya estoy mejor. He tenido poquito prisa y he por ejemplo estuvo mucho con mis amigos.

Ahora voy a decir algunas cosas sobre mi viaje cuando fuimos con mi familia anfitriona hasta a Estados Unidos. Para empezar, mi hermana anfitriona se fue a estudiar a Francia para un trimestre. Ella fue con nosotros a Tucson, Arizona y dejamos ella al aeropuerto de Tucson de donde se fue a Los Ángeles y de Los Ángeles se fue a Francia.

Empezamos nuestro viaje en primero día del año 2017. Levantamos temprano y empezamos nuestro viaje ( con muchos maletas y cosas en nuestro carro ).  El viaje iba a ser largo pero pensé que es muy buena oportunidad a conocer más lugares, quién no gusta una pequeña aventura :).

Mun perhe sanoivat etta tykkäävät monesti käydä Tucsonissa ostoksilla ja siihen tarkotukseen Tucson onkin kyllä ihan mahtava paikka. Tucson Mall oli yksi mun lemppareista, siellä saisi vietettyä vaikka koko päivän (kyllähän me siellä aika kauan aikaa sitten loppujen lopuksi vietettiinkin :D). Mun perhe myöskin suosii kauppaketju jonka nimi (ainakin muistaakseni) on Ross. Sieltä löytyy laadukkaita merkkituotteita halvemmalla, mahtava paikka. Käytiinkin sitten varmaan reisun aikana ainakin viidessä eri Ross liikkessä :D.

My family told me that one of their favourite reasons to come Tucson is shopping. Which I get totally, Tucson is great place to go shopping. One of my favourite places was Tucson Mall, you could easily spend there a whole day (and yea we did spent there quite a while actually :D). My family also prefers a shop named (if I remember correctly) Ross. It is a shop where they sell quality stuff for less, awesome place. Because of that I think we did visit at least five different Ross shops on our trip :D.

Una de las razones porque mi familia gustan ir a Tucson es compras. Y sí yo entiendo totalmente, Tucson es un lugar genial para las compras. Uno de mis favoritos era Tucson Mall, podías pasar todo el día allá (y sí pasamos mucho tiempo allá también :D). También mi familia prefieran unas tiendas, se llaman (si recuerdo correctamente) Ross. Es una tienda en donde venden más barato de las cosas de buena cualidad, es un lugar genial. Por eso creo que fuimos por lo menos a cinco diferentes Ross en nuestro viaje :D.

Mentiin vierailemaan Tucsonin lähellä olevaan Titan Missile Museoon. Siellä on asiaa ydinaseista, USA:n kylmänsodan ajasta ja paljon kaikkea kiinnostavaa tavaraa ja tietoa. Eniten mua kiinnosti tiedot noista ydinaseista ja kantavuuksista ym. hirmuisia tuhoaseita ovat.. Oli kiinnostava käydä. Kiva ja kiinnostava museo, hyvällä paikalla.

To near Tucson we went to visit a museum named Titan Missile Museum which had stuff and information about the cold war of US and nuclear weapons for example. For me the most interesting things were the nuclear weapons and all the information about those for example fire range and stuff. Those are horrible weapons but it is really interesting to know about those.

Cuando estábamos en cerca del Tucson fuimos a visitar un museo, se llama Titan Missile Museum. Tienen por ejemplo cosas sobre la guerra fría de Estados Unidos y sobre las armas nucleares. Para mí la más importante estaba las armas nucleares. Son armas horribles pero también son bien interesantes.

Ylitettyämme toisen kerran USA:n raja, yövyttiin hotellissa melkein heti rajan jälkeen. Aamulla ajaettiin autolla Hermosilloon, vietettiin päivä siellä ja myös yövyttiinkin Hermosillossa. Mun hostperheellä on perhettä Hermosillossa joten vierailtiin perheen tykönä, tutustuttiin Hermosillon kaupunkiin ym. Oli tosi kivaa viettää aikaa tässä kauniissa kaupungissa.

When we crossed the border of USA again we stayed a night on a hotel right after the border. The next day we went driving to Hermosillo where we slept over night and spend a day there. My parents have family in Hermosillo so we did spend time with them, we got to know some parts of Hermosillo and I had great time.

Cuando cruzamos la frontera de Estados Unidos por segunda vez, dormimos en un hotel cerca de la frontera. Próximo mañana fuimos a Hermosillo y pasamos un día allá. Mi familia anfitriona tiene familia en Hermosillo y pasamos tiempo con ellos y pasamos también tiempo conociendo la ciudad de Hermosillo. Me divertí mucho allá.

Matkan varrella kotiin pysähdyttiin syömään ja ihailemaan maisemia tällaiseen pieneen kaupunkiin joka oli kokonaan meren ja vuorten ymröimä. Harmikseni en nyt muista mikä sen kaupungin nimi on.

Olin niin taitava että onnistuin jättämään kuulokkeetkin hotellille. Tajusin noin viiden tunnin ajomatkan jälkeen että oho ne jäi sinne :D.

On our way to home we stopped to eat in this beautiful city in the middle of the ocean and the mountains. I don´t for now happen to remember the name of the city.

I was so lucky/talented that I left my earphones at the one of the hotels. After driving five hours I came to realize that I left those in the hotel :D.

En camino a casa fuimos a una ciudad que está en el dentro de mar y dentro de las montañas. No me recuerdo como se llama esta ciudad.

Yo tenía mucha suerte en nuestro viaje (como siempre). Yo dejé mis audífonos en unos de los hoteles. Después de cinco horas manejando yo piensé que ups creo que dejé los audífonos en el hotel :D.

Oli hieno reisu, taas tuli paljon nähtyä ja koettua kaikkea.Tässä tältä kertaa asiaa. Pian asiaa mm. vaihtarivieraista jotka Mazatlanista kävivät meitä moikkaamassa.

It was a great trip, again I got to know new places and I got new great memories. This is what I am going to write this time. Soon I will be writing for example about the exchange students that came to visit us from Mazatlán.

Me gustó mucho nuestro viaje, ahora tengo otros recuerdos geniales. Ahora es todo por esta vez. Pronto voy a escribir por ejemplo algo sobre de los estudiantes de intercambio quienes vinieran de Mazatlán a visitarnos.

Joulu ja uusivuosi Meksikossa, Christmas and New Year, Navidad y el Año nuevo

Hei! Hi! Hola! :)

Mun piti kirjoittaa heti joulun jälkeen tänne blogiin, mutta ylläri se kaikessa hössötyksessä jäi. Nyt on joulut ja uudet vuodet vietelty ja Yhdysvalloissakin vierailtu. Ja nyt on semmoinen noin puolet vaihdosta jäljellä. Tässä on nyt tällainen kooste joulusta ja uudesta vuodesta Meksikossa. Yhdysvaltojen/ Meksikon reissusta teen postauksen myöhemmin erikseen. Yritän nyt myös tehdä vähä päivitystä myös enkuks ja jos hyvä tuuri käy niin myös espanjaksikin ;).

I am now trying to get hold of myself and so I am also trying to write even some parts in english (because suprise suprise not that many people do speak finnish). This time I am going to tell some things how I for example did spend my Christmas and New Year's eve here in Mexico. I also went week ago to visit United States and at the same time I got to know more parts of Mexico too. And about the trip to United States I am going to make a whole new post soon as possible (so I will not be including it here).

Ahora por la primera vez estoy probando a escribir en español aquí en mi blog también. Todavía tengo mucho que tengo que aprender sobre español ( enserio _mucho_ ). Pero la más importante es que voy a intentar a escribir también en español cuando puedo. Esta vez voy a hablar algo sobre mi Navidad y sobre de mi Año nuevo aquí en México. También fuimos a Estados Unidos con mi familia anfitriona pero sobre eso voy a escribir algo más tarde.

23 ja 24 päivä Joulukuuta mentiin mun rotary klubin kanssa auttamaan joulua myös muille ihmisille. 23 päivä oltiin työssä pakaten lahjoja esim. ruokaa ja leluja lapsille. Paikalla oli mun lisäksi myös muita vaihtareita. Seuraavana päivänä oltiin tällaisessa joulutapahtumassa jakamassa ruokaa. Oli ihan tosi kuuma! Jännä ajatella että jouluna voi olla noin kuuma.

On days 23th and 24th of December we went with my rotary club to help other people to get Christmas too. On the day of 23th we were packing gifts, for example food and toys for kids. With me there was also few other exchange students. On the day 24th we were on a Christmas event of rotary and we were sharing food for people. And the weather was so hot! It is funny to think how warm it can be on the Christmas.

En días 23 y 24 de Diciembre fuimos con mi club de rotario a ayudar gente para que también pueden tener Navidad. En día 23 fuimos a preparar regalos, por ejemplo comida y juegos para los niños. Allá conmigo también estaban algunos otros estudiantes de intercambio. En el día 24 fuimos a evento de Navidad de rotario y estábamos dando comida. Hacía mucho calor! Es muy divertido a pensar que puede hacer tan mucho calor en Navidad.

Kyllähän siinä vähän surumielin jouluna olin niinkuin ajatella saattaa. Joulu on mulle todella tärkeä perinnejuhla. Perheen kanssa puhuttiin useampi tunti jouluna videopuhelua ja siinä vähän haikein mielin kyllä katseli perheen joulun viettoa. Hyvältä kannalta voi ajatella että ensi jouluna sitten tulee suomessa nauttimaan perinteistä sitäkin enemmän. Jouluruoka, joulusauna, perinteiset joululaulut.. Kuitenkin selvisin paremmin kuin odotin :). Hyvä kokemus.

Jouluaaton vietimme perheen kesken. Ensin vierailimme äidin kotona, jossa oli yllätyspukki leikki johon kaikki osallistuivat. Sen vierailun jälkeen mentiin isän perheen luo, syötiin, avattiin lahjoja, tanssittiin ym. Kylmää ja lunta tuli kyllä vähän jouluna ikävä. En ole mikään kylmän ystävä, mutta jouluna pitää olla viileämpää mun mielestä. Siina 30:ssa asteessa mietti vähä silleen etta joo o :D.

I was feeling a bit sad on Christmas as would think. Christmas is an really important festival of traditions to me. I talked few hours with my family from Finland on the Christmas day. In the positive view I can think that next Christmas I will be enjoying of the Christmas tradicion's of Finland from all my heart. Christmas food, Christmas sauna, Christmas songs.. But I made it throw Christmas better than I expected. A good experience.

The Christmas Eve we spend with family. First we went to visit the family of my hostmom, where we played the secret santa to which everyone participated. After that visit we went to my hostfather's family house, we ate, opened presents and danced etc. I was missing for snow and cold. I am not really a friend of cold but in the Christmas it needs to be even a bit more colder in my opinion. It was about 30 degrees in Christmas and it got me thinking that something is off :D.

Yo estaba sentiendo un poquito triste en la Navidad como creen. La Navidad es muy importante fiesta de los tradiciones para mi. Estaba hablando con mi familia de Finlandia en Navidad. En una vista positiva puedo pensar que en la próximo Navidad voy a disfrutar mucho los tradiciones de Navidad en Finlandia. Comida de Navidad, sauna, canciones de navidad.. Pero Navidad fue mejor que primero pensé. Una muy buena experiencia.

La Navidad pasamos con la familia. El primero fuimos a visitar la familia de mi madre, teníamos el juego de amigo secreto y todos participaron. Después del eso fuimos a casa de los padres de mi papá. Comimos, estamos abriendo regalos y bailamos etc. Yo estaba pensando mucho a nieve y frío. A mi no me gusta mucho el frío pero en la Navidad ocupo poquito frío y todo eso, para mi es como parte de la Navidad. Hacía como 30 grados en Navidad y yo estaba pensando a que raro era :D.

Uusivuosi meni kutakuinkin samalla mallilla kuin Joulukin. Odotin että täällä juhlittaisiin rakettejen kanssa yhtälailla niinkuin suomessa, mutta ainakaan tässä perheessä ei ole tapana juhlia rakettien kera. Meksikossa juhlitaan ampumalla raketteja seka jouluna että uutena vuotena, mutta mulla jäi nyt tällä kertaa välistä. Uutenakin vuotena saatiin nauttia hyvästä, jokseenkin erilaisesta ruoasta (Meksikossa tässähän ollaan).

New Year's Eve went some kind of as same way as Christmas. I was waiting that in here the celebrate with lots of fireworks but this is not at least a custom of my hostfamily. In Mexico it is common that people celebrate with fireworks on Christmas and on the New Year's Eve, but at this time I didn't celebrate with those. Also in the New Year's eve we got to enjoy of the delicious food, different (obviously because I am in Mexico) but good.

Celebración del año nuevo fue como Navidad. Yo estaba esperando que van a festejar con muchos aretes pero creo que en mi familia de aquí no es un tradición. En México en Navidad y en Ano nuevo festejan con aretes pero esta vez yo no festejé con esos. También cuando festejando año nuevo comimos comidas bien buenas, diferentes ( obviamente porque estoy en México ) pero buenas.

Kokonaisuudessaan kaikki meni oikein hyvin ja olen tosi kiitollinen että sain juhlia tämän perheen kanssa! Nyt ollaankin jo taas takaisin koulussa. Usan reisusta myöhemmin. Nyt oli vähän lyhyempi postaus, mutta siinä nyt kaikki tärkeä.

On the other side, everything went really well. I am really grateful that I got to celebrate with this family! Now I am already back to school. About the trip of the USA I will write later. It was a bit shorter post this time, but the most important things of these celebrations are now here.

En otras palabras todo fue muy bien. Estoy muy feliz que podía festejar con esta familia! Ahora ya regresé a escuela. Sobre el viaje de Estados Unidos voy a escribir mas tarde. Esta vez es un poquito mas corto que escribí pero tiene las cosas mas importantes.
